Shaquille Rashaun "Shaq" O'Neal is a retired professional American basketball player. He is 7 ft 1 (2.16 m) tall and 325 pounds (147 kg), which makes him one of the tallest , strongest and heaviest players ever. O'Neal played for six teams over his 19-year career. Following his time at Louisiana State University, O'Neal was drafted by the Orlando Magic with the first overall pick in the 1992 NBA draft.
